Custom Engraving Options

Custom Engraved Cutting Boards and Products:

All of our artisan boards and products can be personalized with our laser engraving technology for an additional cost.  This option is perfect for adding personalized graphics, monograms, wedding images, business and corporate logos.

When you are ready to submit your graphic please email to info@saltmarketplace.com. Please provide order number when emailing your image file, and give your file a specific name that will help us identify your file.  Example:

• auntbeccasrecipe.cdr
• SALTLOGO.ai
• edwardsweddingpic.jpg

Preferred files:

For the best quality engraving please provide Vectored Artwork.  This artwork can be saved as a vector image using many design programs.  If you are working with a graphic designer please provide them this information.  Vectored image files will look as follows:

• .CDR (corel draw)
• .AI (adobe illustrator) 
• .EPS (encapsulated post script) 
• .SVG (scalable vector graphic) 

Acceptable files:

Digital or scanned images can usually be engraved when images meet our requirements. Please provide images in the following files. There may be additional fees required to clean up these images before engraving:

• .jpeg
• .png
• .tiff
• .psd
• .pdf

The requirements for these images are:

• 300 dpi (minimum)
• Please save images in the size you would like them engraved in.  Example: 2" X 2" image needs to be saved/exported in this size. It is difficult for us to take a smaller image and expand to a larger size and maintain the integrity of the original image.  The image will look fuzzy/pixelated. We will not be able to engrave a image larger then 8" x 8".  Please contact amber@saltmarketplace.com if you have any additional questions when submitting graphics.
